On Saturday 4th November, 2000, from 7:00 p.m. at the Cascadia Hotel,
St.Ann's, the YMCA will host a "Latin Fiesta". A truly entertaining
evening, Latin style - a Latin welcome, a variety of Latin dishes
buffet style. An exhibition of Latin dancing and music for dancing,
including a live Latin band. Contribution: $200 per ticket in aid
of YMCA's Street Youth Outreach Programme. Call 625-YMCA.

UWI Annual Dival Programme:
Wednesday 18th - The UWI Hindu Society will host its Annual Divali
Programme at the JFK Lecture Theatre from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. All
are welcome.

(Tantie know Divali is we culture too. Ah going to hear more)

British Council Jazz:
Saturday 21st - The British Council presents the Trevor Watts Moire
Music Group - a British-based, 5 piece ensemble that blends African
and Latin rhythms with modern jazz. Guest appearances by Natasha
Joseph & Sheldon Webster - Panazz.
Venue: Caribbean Contemporary Arts (CCA7), Buliding 7, Fernandes
Industrial Centre,Eastern Main Road, Laventille. Showtime - 7:30 p.m.

Bishop Anstey Reunion:
Class of '92 and '94 are planning a reunion for December 21. All
interested Hiliarians of these years are asked to contact Natalie

Basic Feng Shui at Kariwak:

Well, it look like dem fer-iners from Switzerland showing we local
pan boys a ting or two! Dey lickin' we up in the World Pan Music
Festival. How a band dat form 9 months ago could show we up so bad?
Tantie head bowing, but allyuh know how we boys does like to come from
behind on de final day? So Ah going dey early to give we boys some
support. Allyuh better come too!!
