A Royal Celebration:
Saturday September 23rd. It's A Royal Celebration at the Grand Stand,
Queen's Park Savannah from 8 p.m. Featuring four calypso monarchs:
- Black Stalin,
- The Mighty Shadow
- David Rudder
- and their special guest, Singing Sandra
- all backed by the music of Roy Cape and the Kaiso All Stars.
Admission: $75 special reserve and $100 for limited box seats.

Hike Seekers at Carmelita Fall:
September 24th - a hike for the entire family. Assembly at Grand
Bazaar main entrance at 7:00 a.m. sharp. $30

Parang Parang:
Saturday 30th - Launching of the Parang Festival 2000, at the
Parang Headquarters, corner O'Meara Road and Priority Bus Route,
Arima. Event starts with a church service, the blessing of the
Instruments, and a parade of the bands back to the Headquarters
from 7.00 pm till...

(Parang is Tantie ting and yuh know dat mean Christmas coming too!!)

First Citizens Cup Final:
September 29th at the Centre of Excellence, 7:00 pm. The Clubs
in the Final are CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh F.C. [last year's
winner] versus Defence Force F.C. [PFL 1999 Season Champs].
Grand prize- $25,000.

Well Buss Tantie face! Dat Opening Ceremony for de Olympics was
some-ting else. Tantie wondering what Athens go do to come better
dan dat in 2004. Dey had best go back to de original Olympics and
have all dem people performing in dey birthday suits.
