TANTIE TALK:
Cricket... dem boys doh like dey Tantie. Is like every time dey
play dey want to kill mih. De match was good! Both side play some
nice cricket and it wasn't boring at all, at all, at all. All kinda
people who never went to cricket in de life an' doh even self watch
it on TV eh move from in front dey set whole match.

We could learn ah ting or 2 from de South Africans. De way how dey
does set dey mind to put down ah wuk and jes stick to it. Cullinan
not only mek ah century first innings but dey skipper, Pollock throw
in one too. Is not dat we bowling was all dat terrible.. of course
it cud ah be better. But dey did bat fuh 2 whole days. I feel de
last time West Indies bat fuh 2 days was when Lara make he 375.
Ah have to admit though.. de boy Ridley - he did come real good...
wid de 113 not out.

When Lara and Hooper did out, everybody say crapaud smoke we
pipe. But nobody did tell Ridley! He was class. He tek he time,
and hit de bad ball when it come. Mih heart did nearly stop when ah
see he get ketch behind But I eh know why de bowler and keeper didn't
bodder to appeal. De boy mek all de Windies proud! Kallis supposed to
be ah batsman, but he did come real good when dey main bowler, Donald
get injured and end up wid 6 fuh 67. When dem went back to bat,
everybody done say de match draw. Next ting yuh know, dey lorse 3
quick wicket and it have ah whole day to play still. We boy Ramnarine
tek ah 5 wicket fuh de fus time. But oh Gawd, dat man Cullinan...yuh
know is ah nex 82 he make? By de time we went back in to bat, de lil
chance we had ah winning was really gorne. But who wudda expect dem
to "snatch defeat from de jaws of victory" as it were. Yuh know is
ONE man mek double figures in de whole side... and eef it wasn't for
Ramnarine and Dillon pulling ah delaying tactics, boy we wudda lorse
bad, bad, bad. Dem boys jes didn't have no 'sticktoitiveness'.
We didn't have no chance ah winning, but oh gorm, it was ah easy draw.
