Wednesday 10th - The Islamic Academic Society offers classes in how
to read, write and speak Urdu. Classes are one hour weekly and
interested persons are invited to register at the Islamic Academy,

Plus ca change ... new government, same ole faces and de Pres say he
eh want no part ah dat. Dis ha' more bacchanal dan de Carnival to
come! De Silver Fox say he want to tek ah man who was de head of de
Carnival Dis-Organising Committee and mek he Minister of National
Security. Da' is all de police and dem need, as eef dey ent blight
enough arreddy.

Is as eef de only New year's resolution dem make is to continue
doing de same. De Silver Fox going he way; de Pres doing he do
and de PNM still beating up and making ole noise like ah headless
chicken. Orn top ah all dat, it have ah set ah Eggs-pert, Has-Been
and Never-Was pontificating, explashiating and generally runnin' dey
mout and posing on de pee-pul radio and TV. Tantie say tank God fuh
cable, oui. At least ah cud find a lil story wid nice commess to
watch while ah resting mih bones and ah cud always tun it orf when
ah cyar tek no more.

De bacchanal coming hot and heavy and de Carnival ent reach yet.
