Jes now is vacation time fuh de chirrens and dem... and de traffic on
de roads go ease up plenty fuh de time dat they out ah school. But
is like we trying to kill orf we chirren before they reach adulthood.
Is every day in de papers we reading bout chirren who getting knock
down on dey way to or from school, or get sandwiched by some truck
or de odder. Is what happen to we drivers and dem? Dey eh have no
respect for cyclists, dey eh have no respect fuh chirren... doh talk
bout fuh de ole people. Is like dey eh realise that ole people does
have to move ah lil slower because dey old.
What everybody so hurry for? Yuh go speed up on de wet road
because yuh late fuh something? Better yuh be late dan dead, yuh
eh say? Or yuh cause somebody else to dead because yuh so hurry..
dat go be even worse, cause eef is somebody chile who yuh damage,
is how yuh conscience go deal wid dat one?
Tantie want to make an appeal to all road users, whether is ah truck,
car, motorbike or even a bicycle yuh pedalling to take care and
remember that yuh is not de only one on de road and especially
remember dat pedestrians is people, jes like yuh muddah, faddah,
tantie, nennen, uncle, chile....
