TANTIE TALK:
Before I start, lemme take mih bouff one time...allyuh not easy in Tobago at all, at all! ;-) Tantie hadn't visit Tobago in years, so I
didn' know bout de maps an ting dat dey have dere. When I tell you de map an' dem pretty, pretty, but not only dat, but dey have plenty information too! Yuh could check dem online too at

I doh know why dey doesn' do a Trinidad one too nuh, we need it bad. Well anyways, after I did get de bouff I decide to go check it out as I did get chance to tek a lil break and coulda well use a couple days relaxing wid de Squeeze.
Well I tell you, dat place change up fuh so! If you cyant find a place to rest yuh head at night is because yuh ent trying at all, is fus it have guesthouse and hotel all over de place. And doh talk about food, all kinda restaurant and bar spring up everywhere, and not jus down Crown Point side either. It have "de usual"
international/local blend of food
as well as de serious bellyful local dishes. Blue Waters in Speyside does serve a bowl of Cowheel Soup dat make Breakfast Shed servings look small! But, when yuh down liming round Crown Point side and yuh belly start rumbling round midnight, is only one place yuh bound-to-mus go:
Bloc 22. Yuh getting a leg & thigh or a wing & breast in a hops fuh only $10 and it does go down well...but, if yuh go early enough yuh might be lucky to get de fish too, but dat does move faster dan a fowltief wid a bullpistle in he tail. Tantie did also find a wicked setta pommecythere up in Charlotteville, go by Miss Eastman shop and yuh could get it pickle or stew...oh gorm it was nice too bad!
And doh talk bout entertainment...all kinda live entertainment in de place, most restaurant have at least 1-2 nights wid a live band, and it always having some kinda show going on. Yuh could even go try yuh luck in de casino an all, and when yuh wants to wuk up yuh body, is head yuh
heading by Golden Star fuh sure.
Yuh know Tantie & de Squeeze did have a good time, de breather was long overdue...de only problem is it was too short.
Hmmmmm, maybe Tantie should relocate and do Trinbagodiary instead! :-)
