'An Evening of Song' with Lorna Myers:
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th - featuring Lorna Myers accompanied by Enrique Ali at the Holy Name Convent, POS from 7:30pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday. A concert in aid of the restoration of the Holy Name Convent Chapel.

SUNDAY Sunday October 14 - The Terry Fox Run takes place in Canada and in many Canadian Embassies or High Commissions all over the world. Terry Fox was a young man who suffered cancer and had his leg amputated. He did a run through Canada with an artificial leg to collect funds for research on cancer. In Trinidad and Tobago the run/walk will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, around The Queen's Park Savannah.

Departure and arrival points: The Grand Stand; Two (2) water distribution stands - in front of Prime Minister's Office and President's House. There will be medical assistance & first aid on site.

Registration on site TT$30, participants will receive a T-shirt with the logo of the event, any extra contributions gladly accepted.

All funds collected will be used to support the Cancer Registry of
Trinidad and Tobago. The collection of reliable medical data is essential to assess the current situation and plan prevention/curative actions.

Coming up

Trinidad Theatre Workshop will be hosting its first all-inclusive lime at MOBS 2 in Chaguaramas. The date of the event is Saturday December 29th and tickets are a mere $250.00. 

At Up Close & Personal: The All-Inclusive patrons will be able to catch up on those performers that they may have missed out on during the course of the year. Added to that, TTW has some surprise guests in store for all those attending the lime.

Reservations can be made now, either by phone, fax, email or if you prefer snail mail (our info is listed below). Tickets will begin to be distributed within the next two weeks so get yours early. Those who wait till the last minute will be left out as there are limited tickets available.
