Today is Tuesday 10th September 2002, and yuh know what dat mean...is ONLY 4 more weeks till we nex Annual General Election. Silly Season ent really
start to warmup yet, and is only lil sparring going on...so far. Is when de mark buss and all who 'know' start to explaciate and carry on 'bout jes
what dey feel dey know dat de real fun and games go start. De lawyers an' dem itching wid anticipation fuh all de
lawsuits dat bound to mus happen... yuh dem bwoys mouth tie up de whole year widout no Parliament to ramajay
and get on, so yuh know when dey hit de platform is all dat and more go come spewing forth!
I wonder if anybody in T&T really taking any of dem politicos serious at
all? I doh mean de 'party faithful' who wouldn' believe anything bad about dey 'Glorious Leader'...not unless dey ketch dem "in flagrante delicto" wid
dey spouse, chirren and dey dog, making de kinda movies yuh wouldn' show when nex de Pastor come visiting...and some of dem would even want to find
all kinda excuse as to why it did happen. I really talking about de rest of T&T who cyant really remember when last dey hear somebody get up on a
platform an' talk to people like if dey was not only adults, but actual real live HUMAN people and not some pack of puppies dat de politicos jes
placating so dey hand do get bite off when dey have to pat dem. Is when last dey really had issues discussed dat relevant to T&T not jes till de
polls close on Oct 7th but fuh de nex 50 years. Dem forget dat dey own chirren and grandchirren have to deal wid de crap dey leaving behind,
when dey fomenting distrust and discord amongst we peoples, is what de next generation supposed to do? Jes now we go be starting seriously to
profile people who 'doh belong'...where it go stop? Doubles and pudding vendors go have to wear coloured stars on dey clothes and have dey papers
always at hand so dey could continue to sell in 'certain areas'? Instead of talking all de damn nonsense, why dey doh jes call a truce and put dey
houses in order - dey damn well know all who do exactly what and who take
how much, so assuming dey still have some honest ones in de bunch, why it is dey doh shove de bad ones out de door and start over...this time wid
Trinidad & Tobago as a whole in mind.
I know, yuh say it ent have no honest ones, and even if dey did is where yuh go put all ah dem...fuh starters send dem out to revive de cocoa and
coffee plantations dat T&T used to be famous for before we was did become a big name in corruption, after dey finish wid dat is to make dem start
on de Buffalypso ranches...what ranch yuh say? Well it have a whole setta land dat under sugar cane dat only costing we money, dey should turn all
dat into ranches for de Buffalypso wid jes enough cane growing to turn into feed and to make rum. If people want Trinidad Sugar, no probs...do a high
quality, high price exclusive brand and sell to who want it, but we cyant afford to have all dat land jes for cane.
And if yuh cyant understand it, check Gypsy...he did say it all in 1972.

I jest receive this ting and it make meh feel so good to hear about what happening back home. Is years, decades, since ah leave and yuh know how it
is, ah does go back to Trini, but usually when somebody ded, to pay last respects and go to funeral. One ah meh sisters does write meh but between
us we does manage maybe 3 letters a year, in a good year. I ent know if is lazy we lazy or what. Anyway, tanks again. I living in Tanzania now and
does hardly hear anything about Trini.
