Yuh ever get de feeling dat yuh life eh really going in de direction it
supposed to be going? Oh gorm, do say every day nah... it kinda like de
way de country caosting right now, yuh ent really know if it good or bad but
yuh damn sure it really should be different.
Poor T&T going through a serious midlife crisis, and jes like wid most of
we when dat happen is confufflement in a rage. Yuh cyant decide what yuh
want to do, who yuh want to do it wid and why...mankind does end up doing all
kinda dotishness - man does suddenly feel de need for speed and rushing to buy
fancy sports car and motorbike, not to mention hoping dey go make he look 'jes
right' to chicks who younger than he own offspring. And do feel is only
man who does get tootoolbey, because big hardback woman does suddenly 'forget'
a couple decades of baggage dey carrying and want to be coasting dong de road
in clothes design for a body dat wasn' anything like dey own...when yuh reach
a certain spread, yuh KNOW thong panty and white pants especially, jes doh
work!
While de people could ketch dey self and stop de dotishness in dey lives, dey
have to understand dat poor T&T cyant do it...why? Because is WE de
citizens self who 'doing' de chupidness dat causing T&T midlife crisis.
Is we who have to stop de politicians from believing dey get elected for dey
own benefit, dey have to understand WE put dem dere to do dey best to serve US
and T&T. If de man or woman yuh put in office not doing a thing for
de benefit of anybody but demselves, tell dem so frankomen. Dem ent bong
to serve out de whole term, is not like dey in jail (nevermind plenty should
be) is WE who does be suffering till de nex election and de roads get pave and
de masses get a lil 10 days. Is not jes for de kaisonians to say what
dey feel wrong, is high time dat We de employers of de politicos take a stand
and fire dey backside if dey ent working out right. And we have to
realise it doh matter what party dey come from...is shape up or ship out. We
now looking at 26 years as a Republic, but what dat mean? So de Queen is
no longer we Head of State, but we still using more of de UK's old, obsolete
laws than dey demselves...so is what we really trying to achieve?
We building ferries dat cyant get certify in no other country, we build one
airport/terminal building dat cost more and worth less than 2-3 anywhere else,
we spend large money on a beauty pagent dat was supposedly to promote
Tourism...exactly where de promotion going on nobody know, but yuh seeing ads
for Barbados, Jamaica and de rest of de Caribbean all over de Yankee people
cable tv...if yuh look hard in one, is true yuh go see de words Trinidad &
Tobago, but dat miniscule mention ent 'promotion' unless yuh mean we get
promote from total obscurity to 'in de background'.
So watch out mih chirren, as de man Shorty did say for a slightly different
reason...Lucifer(s) does take many different forms, allyuh enjoy yuh holiday
and start making notes to make out yuh pink slips in de months ahead.
