Tantie Talk
So, de weekend before Carnival done...is now time to be de bes' we Trini
could be, roll out we "Carnival Mentality" and show de world how to do de
ting jes right. An' doh feel is only making Mas and feteing I talking 'bout,
because as I always say if only we could grow up and realise dat de selfsame
"Carnival Mentality" is de saving grace of Trinis because we putting we
everything into feteing, making costume till all hours (wid plenty voluntary
labour to boot) and wid all dat we still doing we day jobs too. If only we
could harness dat energy and enthusiasm into de nex 10-11 months of de year,
T&T would be a whole nex other place from de mess we watching it become.
But dat is for anedder time, allyuh check out de list and plan yuh feteing
properly...it ent till March dat de Big Bram on, so take yuh time and enjoy
de run up so yuh could really enjoy de Mas when de time come.

Thank you for the past year of good 'common sense' talk. I was always told
as a child that 'common sense made before book sense'. The only complaint
I have with God is that he/she did not make enough to go around. Common
sense always seems to be in short supply. So that is what I wish for
everyone for the New Year - nuff nuff common sense!!
