Tantie Talk

Allyuh know dat dis is Tantie season self! So yuh does have to forgive mih lil bit eef ah doh give allyuh no big 'Talk' dis week, cus is only fete and pan fuh yuh Tants dese days. All I could tell yuh is dat de pan dem real sweet and odder dan dem dotish people who looking fuh fight in de fete, de season shaping up nice. Hopefully de police and dem go really do what dey Commissioner say and start being more pro-active in de fetes rather than just a 'presence' (what de heck is dat anyway?).

Dis last weekend, even de crowds at de Panorama wus less than last year and de same ting at all de fetes. I suppose, wid de long season and short finances, people conserving dey dollars fuh selective all-inclusive fetes ... not to mention dey corstume. And of course it wus no great surprise dat the 'pan village' on de 'wrong' side of the stage did fail miserably and from early-o-clock de gate people did give up on collecting de $20 entrance fee and jes let de gates swing open. Who wudda thought?

Is like dey need Tantie to run de Carnival fuh dem. Is plenty year's experience in de ting dat we talking bout. And I know dat all ah allyuh go vote fuh tantie when de time come.

Fete safe mih chirren.
