Tantie Talk
Well, well, well...Tantie stir up almost as much noise as de 'official' advisories an' dem, I bes make a pitch to write dem in true! Of course allyuh did realise widout me saying, dat yuh wasn' seeing no issue over de Carnival - who have time to write when yuh taking in sweet Pan wid Starlift?

As usual, some ah we quickly displayed a lack of de humour/sarcasm gene, but ah glad to see that all ent lorse. I ent know what it is wid de 'President of Wanksie Fan Club' quoted below, but I could only hope dey doh really believe ALL or even ah recordable percentage of de readership are as narrow minded and bigoted as dey seem to be...lighten up dahlin', if is man trouble yuh having, "Man does come, Man does go..." is what yuh fretting for? If yuh has a nex kinda problem, yuh jes might need professional help but I could tell yuh for free dat killing people yuh doh like, aint de way...OK?

Wid dat outta de way, lewwe talk bout de Carnival. It was nice too bad! De damn sun could walk wid some clouds an' a lil rain though...oh gorm fus it was hot! Is a good ting de bands was flowing free, because if dey did have a 4-5 hour backlog like in previous years, somebody was bong to dead. I ent know fuh sure what it is de NCC do right, but I want to tell dem a big THANKS! Allyuh realise dat by 4:30-5:00 on Tuesday almost everybody did arredy pass through de Savannah? A nex thing I want dem to give real serious thought to is making de Picadilly Greens a compulsory venue. I done hear allyuh saying "well is now Tantie gorne through, mus be de sun over de Carnival...", but I serious. All before Carnival yuh seeing all kinda people complaining dat Carnival get take away from de people, Mas and Pan is now a 'Western Culture' meaning dat Eastern Port of Spain (East of the Dry River - EDR) where it did all start now get leave out because everything gone down Woodbrook and even further West. If it wasn' for Despers, All Stars and Renegades, plenty people who 'big' in de Mas and Pan wouldn' know dat anything existed beyond Frederick, Henry or Charlotte Street. An' strangely enough it does especially seem to affect some who was born and raised in EDR self. Tantie find is time to take de Mas back to de people...is not everybody in EDR who could afford to take time out to
go by de Savannah or even Downtown, so I feel it could never be too 'outa de way' for all ah we who enjoying de Mas and de Pan to pass by and say Thank You EDR.

I have to add on a addendum to de Travel Advisory...

After de Fact
If yuh feel yuh could come for de Carnival, play yuhself and then jes jump on a plane an' head back home, lemme tell yuh yuh damn lie. Anytime yuh decide to come, make sure yuh book to travel back at least 2 weeks after Carnival...doh feel dat yuh could get on a flight de Saturday after Carnival widout standing in line for ah hour, not sure where de line going but after de hour yuh sure yuh went a whole twenty yards/metres. And if after yuh eventually check in, yuh bes go fill yuh belly, because yuh ent sure when yuh go get on de flight, and even when dey have yuh lock up on de plane, do feel it taking off anytime soon...it go be at least ah nex hour yuh go be scrunch up in yuh seat scratching yuh ears wid yuh knees.

And if yuh feel I lie, I giving yuh a direct quote from somebody who did suffer through last Saturday at Piarco trying to get back to de UK:

<Got through to the departure gate only to be told that the plane would be delayed until 7:15 and then nothing....they even took it off the monitor! It was so obvious that there would be a delay as so few people were there that we were not surprised, but after not hearing anything I went and asked what was going on at 7:20. We were told we would be boarding soon and we did, only to sit on the plane for another hour until flying out at 8.30.
By the time we picked up in Barbados and took off again we were served our meal at 12.30 AM. What fun! That and an idiot in front who obviously believed that the UN had enshrined the right to put the chair back as far as it could go under the convention to ensure freedom of movement led to a great flight, NOT! >

BeeWee, allyuh have to do something 'bout making yuh system(s) work more efficiently wid less people to run de show. Dat bacchanal at Piarco cyant never happen again.

Do you support rapists, murderers? I don't. Neither do I support homosexuals - they are in the same category as rapists and murderers!! So, please - if you support homos, lesbians, etc., that's your thing, just leave it out of the trinidiary - think of your readership (like me). I support Wanksie all the way.
