Tantie Talk

I did get dis email las' week...I ent know how accurate it is, but if self it only halfway correct it plenty bad. An' when yuh combine it wid de so called 'hacker SMS message' dat was making rounds las week, tings not looking too bright over by TSTT side...in fact when yuh listen to de statements dat TSTT people was making in de press it really look like is a miracle dat TSTT able to offer ANY kinda service at all. Dem people talking like if it not easy to search for any an' all kinda information 'pon de 'net! Yuh woulda swear it was 1984 instead of 2003 an' de concept of de Internet as exists today still a thought to come to some bright spark mind. Oh gorm, how TSTT so, is like dey forget dat not only people NOT using 300baud modems dese days but dey demselves offering people ADSL service to yuh house! One minute yuh hearing how dey so advanced, but de nex' minute yuh hearing dem say how dey ent know how de SMS ting happen...so TSTT is which one it is? Allyuh know what it is yuh doing or is really like all yuh customers think an' allyuh need a refresher course in basic anatomy? I mean to say at least hopefully allyuh know what is yuh arse an' what is yuh elbow right?

========================BEGIN QUOTE==========================

Have you ever got a T.S.T.T bill and it was higher than expected, higher than it should be? Well it's not your fault. It is almost always a cheat by TSTT itself. TSTT is profitable not for its success in operations, but for its success in stealing from us. They record calls that did not even go through.

SCENARIO 1
I got a telephone bill from TSTT. It was unbelievable so I got a print out of all calls made. The print out states the time and duration of the calls made. I noticed on the print out that during a call, another call was made. This is not possible for a phone with no other features. In other words, if I call the number 7771234 at 5:02pm and stayed on that call for 35minutes, then the call would have ended at 5:37pm. So how could a call to 7964321 be made at 5:15pm for 25 minutes on the same day? They recorded a call during another call? THIEF.

SCENARIO 2
I made a dial from my cellular but no one answered. Money still came out from my cell. Could this be a cheat by TSTT, or are the employees at TSTT just not doing their jobs right. I was at home testing out my phone. There are no answering machines. From my cellular I dialed my house phone number and then hung up. No one at home answered but money still came out the cell.

SCENARIO 3
One day I called my friend's cellular from my house phone but I was getting a recording saying, please try your call again, this is a recording. I kept getting this in five consecutive dialing. So I decided to call my cellular (which I had on me) just to see if my cell would ring. It was not ringing until I hung up my house phone. (How could I be receiving a call from home if the house phone is hung up?). In answering my cell I would hear nothing. In other words, I called a cell but I did not get through with the call, but TSTT continued making the call even though I hung up so the call would go through with me not knowing. I wonder if it's a policy by Management of TSTT to steal from us, or is it just that the employees there that don't know what they are doing.
PASS THIS ON to as many Trinbagonians as possible. Let every one know what is going in front their eyes. TSTT has to stop cheating us.

Dis is yet anudder one ah dem 'Trini' stories floating round de 'net...Trini ent easy yes ;-)

A Trini US Marine stationed in Iraq recently received a "Dear John" letter from his Trini girlfriend back in Brooklyn. It read as follows:

Dear Leroy,
I cya continue our relationship. De distance between us just too great. I hav tuh admit dat ah horn yuh twice, since yuh gorn, and it eh fair tuh eeder ah we. Ah sorry. Yuh could return de picture ah me dat ah did send yuh?

Love,
Gwendolyn

The Marine, with hurt feelings, asked his fellow Marines for any snapshots they could spare of their girlfriends, sisters, ex-girlfriends, nen-nens, cousins etc. In addition to the picture of Gwendolyn, Leroy included all the other pictures of the pretty girls he had collected from his pardners. There were 57 photos in that envelope.... along with this note:

Dear Gwendolyn,
Ah rell sorry, buh ah cya remember yuh nuh. Please take yuh picture from de pile, and den send de rest back tuh me.

Take Care,
Leroy
