TANTIE TALK - Tuesday 03 April 2007 Volume 8 Issue 14

Boy is trute how we does get confuffle easy yes. Wid all de cornfusion in de cricket is like we ent have no brains leff in we head to real consider what happening in we little piece of de World.

De Backchat like it tun into one ah dem call in radio show

Leh we try and put ah rest to de ole talk on dis Manning/Panday/Chief Justice/Chief Magistrate soap opera. It really doh matter no longer who tief, who lie, who bribe, who get orf, and who fix up.

De reality is dat we really lose sight of de real issues at hand. We enjoying de bachannal and de mauvais langue but we ent realise how we looking in de eyes of de World.

So leh mih spell it out fuh all ah we dat miss de ting.

1. We have ah ex Prime Minister who cyar explain how he wife and daughters accepting money from a Businessman who receiving Government contracts

2. We have a Chief Magistrate who cyar explain why he sell property to a company headed by a witness in a case that de self-same Magistrate hearing.

3. We have a Chief Justice who cyar explain why he ent willing to defend heself in front of a Tribunal

4. We have a Prime Minister who cyar explain why would tell de Chief Justice to resign and avoid a tribunal hearing.

5. We have a bag ah opposition who ent have nutten to say about all of de above.

We real missing de point. Is so long dat all dese cases going tru de system dat I no longer really care if anyone get lockup or not. It doh matter.

All it show is dat we system of Government and we system of Justice so irrelavant dat we long reach de stage where de society overs dat and feel dat it really doh apply to dem.

We does watch de TV and see how Zimbabwe reach and say dat cyar happen here, but like we all forget Guyana and Grenada already. We full ah Petrodollars we we feel dat de gas ent go run out, meanwhile we letting dem politrickians mek we look ah pappyshow in de World.

So since we ent have no more reason to watch de Cricket, allyuh spend dis Easter tinking hard about de kinda people dat we does vote in every five years and eef is not time to see a whole new Trinidad & Tobago.
