Ah was talking wid Mildred over de fence las week and she was telling me how de nex party go come and save we and lead we Nation to a real 2020 vision. She was real serious about how she feel dat tings go only get better once she vote in de nex setta fellas.

Is den I pick up de gazette and see dat how Ramesh say dat he want to bring all de opposition parties together to sweep out Patos and he side to save all ah we.

Ah did start to tink dat how is like we reach 1986 again. Back in dem days de NAR did reach and say dat eef dey all put up togedder dat dey could get out de PNM. Well we all know dat dey wash out de whole Parliament and leff only tree seat fuh dem.

But it didn't last, and I feel it didn;t last fuh a basic and fundamental problem wid we people. We jes doh know how to ban we belly. Life too sweet in dis Trinidad & Tobago and is like we jes cyar settle dong and tek ting serious enough to be organised.

So back in de day when Cartey and Francis run dey mout I feel dat is where de tunning point was, and like we reaching dat again. Now we replace dem wid Imbot and Hinds, because you notice how Valley and Rowley long shut dey mout. Dem fellas does know how de game does play.

But dey does say dat pride does come before a fall, and dem fellas displaying an arrogance dat doh come easy. Doh mind how much job and dullahs, and big building it have, it does come a point when people does cyar tek no more.

Ah did tek a maco de udder day of de Patos Palace. Lawd have mercy dat place big! And I ent have a problem wid dat. I want to see we PM in a place dat does reflect we country wid pride and style. But is how yuh could seriously have furriners building ah place dat does represent we?
Doh get mih wrong, I all fuh Free Trade, but it have ah bigger picture to consider and like dem fellas ent seeing de Poui fuh de bush fire.

No matter who win de next Election, dey have de same problem. To fix Trinidad & Tobago does require fixing all ah we fust. And we doh want to fix we self, we still waiting on de nex saviour.

help the country?

You see Tants, we have become so de-sensitized that we now categorise
big crime from small crime and are failing to see that a crime is a
crime is a crime.

So unless it was raised to cause scandal, then let the contribution be
made whether it is by Gov’t or Opposition……the latter must live up to
its name “oppose”!

No but seriously both sides have that responsibility to bring to our
attention an issue for concern.

I do understand why that one could have been dismissed when every day in
my sweet homeland there is always a more pressing issue….a flavour of
the day….not of the week or month eh but the day

Sometimes a day can have two flavours like Machel facing his five
charges which are critical but pale compared to those Pops
facing…….making it more like flavour by the hour!

No where to beat sweet T&T.
