So, we now officially in Silly Season an' de once more we settle in fuh de nex' few weeks of incessant preachin' to de converted while hopin' somebody actually say someting dat dat make sense. Dis particular version of de general elections go be most interesting, because I gettin' a feelin' dat mucho many surprise in store all round.

I have to thank de Express fuh makin' mih day when I did see dey front page story dis mornin'..I ent know who it is setup de poor reporter wid dat 'scoop' - dey mus be wettin' deyself laffin' at de poor chile. Is why it is anybody go feel dat Wendy go want to be involve in dat bacchanal? She might well endup in politics some day, an' might even be a PNM candidate when dat time come, but oh gorm give de chile some credit nuh...she might be a former beauty queen, but is like we all forget dat she did postpone finishin' she law studies to do it...an' when she did finish wid all de Miss Universe obligations she did go back an' finish she degree!

Not dat I sayin' Nicole Dyer is a bubble head, at all! I hear did her speak an' she well surprise me in trute, she passionate an' believe in what she doin'...but, jes because CoP happen to have a former beauty queen is no reason why people should be expectin' Miss Wendy to drop all what she doin' wash she foot an' jump in de PNM (or anybody else fuh dat matter) one ring circus. Some might even say she done in a kinda circus wid de job she have at eTEK, but I want to hope an' believe dat she get de job on she own merit an' she doin' a good jon fuh she country.

An' so whither Ken Valley? Is like if Patos really hopin he jes wither away so he ent have to deal wid him no more...but de best laid plans of mice, men an' politrikians does have a way of unravellin' wid some alacrity when dey least expectin'. Seriously though, I really feel de only hope we have in dis town is a nice mix of de parties in Parliament minus de 'incumbent' members for San Fernando east and Couva North...an' de way dey carryin' on dese days, it ent go take much more to sway de constituents.
