Quick question. Politrickians does have mothers? Maybe I should put dat a nex way: Yuh tink politrickian's mothers does acknowledge dem in public?
As if bein' a mother not hard enough, yuh have to watch yuh neighbors an' pretend yuh ent know dey askin' deyself why it is yuh did nurture de damn wretch of a politrickian dat makin' dey life hell.

But anyways, is what yuh go do? As some would say dat is de burden of motherhood an' no matter ole an' hardback de chile be, dat is de cross dey have to bear. It not nice to say it, but de hope is dat most of de mothers done pass on arredy...because what goin' on dese days woulda most definitely cause serious distress. How come de most basic concepts dat we did all learn growin' up - carin', sharin', honesty an' manners seem to disappear almost as if de swearin' in fuh office does automagically wipe dem outta politrickian's life?

It ent too far a jump to see dat de way de youths carryin' on dese days not all dat different from de politrickians. It look like all man jack ent seein' too much in de future an' grabbin' what dey could now, never mind Vision 2020 an' fastin' an' marchin fuh whatever dis week's flavour of protest is other than sour grapes. If de leaders an' "exemplars" cyant get dey act together an' jes get on wid de business of runnin' we country, is how we expect to be able to count on de youths doin' de right tings?

We want dem to wuk hard an' build de nation along wid demselves, but we showin' dem dey legacy go be a nation dat runnin' outta de one an' only source of income, dat cyant feed itself an' go probably be so polluted dat it ent go make any to try an' grow anyting anyway. So when dey see conspicuous consumption by de few at de top of de heap, is no wonder dey lookin' to get what dey could now fuh now, widout any thought 'bout what happenin' tomorrow. I like dat car, lemme take it. You have money, lemme take it. An' de worse part is dey so doh unnerstand how bad tings be dat dey breedin' like rabbit an' producin' more mouths to feed an' perpetuate de cycle.

Is time to call a halt. Lewwe take de opportunity dis Sunday when we go be honourin' mothers to tak a good long hard look at de state of de one mother dat we ALL belong to - Mother T&T. People all over de world jes 'celebrate' Earth day...anybody really notice in T&T? Lewwe all try an' make a difference somehow in some small way not only dis Sunday but from now on - care for an' nuture somebody or someting, because everybody need to have a lil mothering sometime.
